Meet The Team
Meet Juli, our Holy Yoga instructor. She will be teaching the Just Breathe class. Juli began practicing yoga in 2003 after her aunt, a yoga instructor in California, shared it with her. Always being involved in dance, gymnastics, and athletics throughout school, Juli needed something to keep her moving that was still challenging. During college, there wasn’t a lot of places to practice, and eventually knew she had to become an instructor herself. Juli completed her first teacher training in 2011 and began teaching right away, sharing yoga in her small neck of the woods in Northwest Arkansas.
In 2012, Juli moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma teaching in several places, but felt something was missing in her classes. Often, Juli found herself praying on her mat and making space for the Holy Spirit to work on her heart, but no Christian yoga classes were offered in the area. She found Holy Yoga while researching online, and decided to attend Jesus at the Core in Dallas. After the weekend, she knew she had to take the training to share Holy Yoga with her community. She completed Holy Yoga teacher training in 2014 and started offering Holy Yoga with young adult ladies in her church.
In the fall of 2014, Juli moved to the Oklahoma City area where she resides with her husband, Seth, and her two young children. She continues to teach Holy Yoga classes at her church home as well as Kids’ Holy Yoga here and there.
Juli has also completed the Kids’ Holy Yoga training, Leadership Training, Masters Certification, and additional yoga trainings. Currently she on the Leadership Team for the Southwest Region of the US.
Juli is excited about MyTribe and the opportunity it has to encourage, motivate and direct girls to whatever God's purpose is in their lives. She chose to be partner up with MyTribe because pointing youth directly to God brings her heart joy!
